ENVIRONMENTAL EARTH SCIENCES
Environmental & Earth Sciences International (EESI) is an Australian company made up of independent specialists in the fields of soil science; geology; hydrogeology; geochemistry; water pollution; waste management; and environmental monitoring, measurement and management. Established in 1983, we currently have a staff base of around 65 people across Australia.
EESI was set up to devise simple technical solutions for the 'brown' environmental sciences & soil, groundwater and waste. Over the decades, we have researched, designed and implemented pioneering cleanup solutions for chlorinated hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, nutrients, hydrocarbons and PAHs in soil and groundwater.
Our company goal is to devise simple, science-based, practical techniques to evaluate and remediate groundwater and soil contamination. Our business structure, as shown below, was deliberately created to promote the innovation necessary to achieve this goal.
- The Centre for Contaminant Geoscience (Research)
- EESI Consulting
- EESI Contracting
Environmental regulations are becoming stricter worldwide and EESI solutions are designed as cost and time-efficient methods of meeting these controls. And with the worldwide boom in housing and development, these solutions are rapidly becoming more important and indispensable.
